Phew, how 'bout those two posts about my time in Finnmark. Damn long dontcha think? You didn't read through them, did you? Well, I can't blame you if you didn't. Just needed to purge myself of the thoughts and experiences I had while being there. So there.
Just finished watching "Thirteen", and it was a very uncomfortable movie to watch. What with all those teens rebelling against their parents, and fu**ing up royally in the process. I say as Henry Rollins said it:
If you hate your parents, the man or the establishment, don't show them up by getting wasted and wrapping your car around a tree. If you really want to rebel against your parents: outearn them, outlive them, and know more than they do.
I really love that quote. When I get kids, I'll try to find some sort of poster with that quote and hang it in their rooms, as well as having them on a steady diet of Black Flag, ya dig?
Anyways, the movie was very good and, as I mentioned, pretty uncomfortable in certain places. Reality bites, isn't that what they say? But despite all that I think it lacked a little more oomph to be a truly
great movie. It was good though, and I hope that it gets shown to teenagers as scare-tactics or something.
Hmpf... I tried this whole Mobblogging thing seeing as I have a new cellphone with camera, but I can't get it working. Might have to ask John.
Anyway, I am le tired and I have to go to bedz0r.
