Festival + Music = Great!, Festival + Camping = Not So Great...
Guess who's back... Back again. I am back. Tell a friend. And so on.
I had an amazing time. Especially at The Futureheads concert, which was the best concert in my opinion. They drew a good sized crowd as well. I won't start with my review's of the festival's different bands just yet. I think I'll let that wait until tomorrow.
As the title states I had a wicked time at the festival going from band to band, but being at the official camp-site for the festival sleeping in a tent was not so much fun. When John and I first got there the rain was pouring down like crazy. It was like someone was emptying a bucket with infinite amounts of water over our heads. Such a bummer. And it was late in the evening as well so it was kinda dark out. Luckily we stumbled beside a "Party-tent" with some nice Moss-people (Moss is a place in Norway so don't worry about there being fuzzy green plant-people here in Norway) who let us dry up in their tent while the rain subsided. They were the nicest folks we could possibly end up next to, and I have to say they were the best part of my camping-experience. Well, them and the burgers. Delicious! We didn't really spend that much time with them though. They were party-party kinda people, while we went to bed (read: sleeping bad) kinda early. We didn't exchange numbers or anything, and we didn't even say goodbye (they were usually done with the partying when me and John got up), so if any of you happen to stumble on to my site: Thank you for your help, and for welcoming us to your party-tent. I am forever grateful (or something a bit less dramatic-sounding).
This post was just to let you know that I'm back. I'll return with a full analysis of my first day at the Quart-festival tomorrow.
See ya!
