I got the style but not the grace, I got the clothes but not the face
Tom Waits, lady's and gentlemen. Really goddamn good.
Apparently he's "big in Japan". Harr!
First day of work tomorrow so I should really be getting some shut-eye right about now... Nah! I'll rather write a long, elaborate post about my life to entertain all you folks out there on the internet. Ya know ya'll want me to.

Last night my older bro and his band of merry men in
Fumar Mata played a concert in Mosjøen. Of course I had to assemble my friends, get them nice and drunk, and get them to come see the band with me. So I arrived in Mosjøen in the somewhat late afternoon, and I went over to
John. There we went a bit back and forth about the vorspiel-plans before the concert, but we eventually ended up with him hosting the party and a pretty nice batch of guests showing up. There were more than I expected it to be. We had a few brewskies and then we left for the concert. I guess we were about seven people (not including me) in my entourage, and there were maybe five others there. So including the staff we were about twenty people there in the audience. Rawk n' fookin' rawl!
It was a pretty decent gig, not as good as the one in Korgen because of the attendance and the vocalist (that's my bruvva, ya know?!) having trouble with the sound in/on his microphone, but quite good all things considering.
Again: CHECK THEM OUT HERE -->
Fumar Mata (I'll be making a lot of these plugs in future posts just to spread the word... This is the start of the street team right here, boyo).
In other news; I've gotten a shitload of new cd's the last week. I have about 5-6 new ones that I need to listen to. Including: The Arcade Fire EP, Sleater-Kinney's The Woods and JR Ewing's Maelstrom. I'll be getting back to you with a full music recommendation post, maybe next time I check in. All I can say now is that The Arcade Fire is the best band in the whole wide world, and if I never get to see them live I'll die an unhappy and disgruntled old man.
