I've got something to tell ya, I've got news for you.
Gonna put some wheels in motion, get ready 'cause I'm coming through.

Hey now, hey now etc...

Long time no see! I haven't been home in like two weeks, and I also couldn't find my diskette at my flat, so I guess you can say I haven't really bothered at all to try posting. I'm in the middle of all this Russ-celebration thingies, and I wasn't 100% sure on coming home today seeing as the festivities are continuing without me. But hey, I think I made the right decision. I've caught up with all the mp3-blogs I usually read and download from (must've gotten like 30 new mp3's). Again fled.the.scene. has some good stuff up for grabs. Although I'm becoming more and more careful when it comes to emo-bands, Fall Out Boy has really got my attention, and you should go download Of All The Gin Joints In All The World right... NOW! It'll be on constant rotation in your head after you've heard it the first time. Catchy just doesn't cut it.

But I do prefer The Futureheads when it comes to catchy vocal-harmonies, and that's the truth.

I know I told you that I had a gem for you that I was supposed to post some weekends ago. Well, you're going to have to wait a bit longer. I started writing about it, but when I was about half-way through my little brother came and annoyed me about it being his turn to use the computer. And by doing so, I lost my will to write and I saved my writings as a draft. I guess I could tell you what it was: Some old mix-cd's from about 4-5 years back. I thought I'd do a little trip down memory lane with you peeps, breaking the cd's down track by track. A lot of funny music.

Oo! Another thing I completely forgot about. I've been meaning to post about this the last three weeks or so, but it's slipped my mind each time. It's about the best song so far this year! And the song is none other than 1 Thing by Amerie! That song is so good that I don't know what to say of it. I guess I could say it's like the Maps of this year. It's one of those songs that produces such a huge array of feelings at the same time, or at least it does for me. At first I thought of it as a quite catchy song, but that it was a bit silly because of the "Gobble, gobble, gobble" thing. But now I crank up the tv every time it comes on, and enjoy it from end to beginning. It's this year's definition of aural pleasure. Sooooooo good... so damn good.

I got to get up early tomorrow and fix my grandma's garden, so sleep is due now.

Hear what I say now: Happiness is just around the corner.
