Take your shoes off and I will throw them in the lake / and I will be two steps on the water
Thanks to my brother-man for fixing me up with some really hawt joints this week.
He made me an MD including what possibly might be the best song/coversong EVER. It's
Hounds Of Love covered by
The Futureheads, the original is by
Kate Bush. I'm not sure if I've heard the original, but the cover is so... goddamn good. Makes me smile from ear to ear
every time I hear it.
The Futurehead - Check 'em out, ya'll. Their original material is just as good (or at least I hope it is... haven't bought the album yet).
This week was the first week of school since the winterholidays, and it was pretty average. It's been fucking freezing (sorry for the profanity but it really was fucking freezing), but it looks like it's all going to turn around now, with rain, warmer temperature etc. It'll be hell. Hopefully the snow will stay snow until after next Wednesday/Thursday because that's when we're having an outdoors-day for the entire school. Ski's, and all. Hopefully it'll be a lot of fun.
Last night I saw Dawn Of The Dead (Director's Cut), and goddamn! That must've been the most intense movie I've ever seen! It's definitely on my Top 5 list of best movies ever. Absolutely stunning. The whole ambience of the whole thing was just superb. I was on the edge of my seat through nearly all of it. There's nothing better than running zombies in my opinion.
I'll have to write some more when I get back to my flat, and post a few times next week, because I don't have time for it now.
