Safe to say I'm all giddy inside. The only bummer about all this is that I forgot to change the adress on my QOTSA-order. So I have to wait all until next Tuesday before I can hear it. Oh, the magnitude of my problems. Feel sorry for me.
Another thing I'm worrying about a bit is the Futureheads album. You see I've ordered the new release which includes a DVD, and some extra tracks on the original CD. So the tracks have been scrambled about a bit at the end, and I'm scared that that might affect the album as a whole in a bad way. I'm really hoping it won't. So far I've heard three tracks from the album, and one song that isn't on the album. Maybe it's a b-side or something. I downloaded it from
stereogum.com so go have a look if you want to check it out. It doesn't have all the energy from the other songs I've heard and it's very short, but I reckon it's quite listenable.
Can't wait for the album to arrive! OMGz!
In other news: LOST is frickin' hawt! (Edit: In other "old" news).
I'm really loving that show. The thing I love about it the most is how it shows us what the characters did before they crashed on that "desolate" island. A very nice way to get to know all the peeps on the show. But what they'll do when they've gone through all the main-characters is beyond me. I hope they work it out in a clever way, and that the show doesn't lose it's flair.
Another show that I'm loving to bits is Arrested Development. I'm so frickin' glad TV4 started showing that show. I now know what all the blogs I'm reading are on about. Sheer, and utter brilliance. I recommended it to two of my friends but they dismissed it after one episode. I must admit that I didn't get quite into the show before seeing the episode that was last Monday, but now I am addicted. All I can say about my friends is that they're fuckin' up. Big time.
I think that's all for now. Going to go see my grandma now... If I could only find me some pants.
