Life to lifeless to eternity / Life to lifeless the cycle repeats
Aloha

I simply must buy a Killswitch Engage album soon. I've had the riff and the chorus of their song Life To Lifeless in my head all day. They make such catchy metalmusic, or emo-metalcore if you prefer that tag they've been given. I'm usually a bit iffy if I hear about bands that've been labeled that genre, but the 'Switch embraces it and owns it completely. So frickin' good. I think I've said this before but I'll say it again: Killswitch Engage is the real Love Metal.

This week's been pretty deaf. Not too much happening except for the Russ Revue(again: Knife to the eye, if you ask for an explanation to the word Russ) which was on Thursday.
It was the first Russ revue I've ever seen and it was pretty much hilarious! It had a 'red thread' (I'm not sure if that's what it's called in english, but it's like a recurring topic throughout the show) which showed the history of the Russ-tradition from about 1905 up until today, and I must say it was quite brilliant! Especially 1995: A shameful year in the history of the Russ. Rave, anyone?

I also saw Eurotrip with John on Thursday. I didn't actually look too much forward to seeing it, because I think I heard it described as 'Road Trip set in Europe!', and I didn't really like Road Trip that much. But Eurotrip was actually a pleasant surprise riddled with hilarious cameos.
First up was Matt Damon as a skinhead(not as a white-supremacist or anything) in a punk-rockband. I would probably have gone "Wtf?! Matt Damon as a skinhead in a punk-rockband?!" if John hadn't told me about it beforehand. Well, I guess I kind of went like that anyway because it was just too good to be true!
Vinnie Jones had a cameo as well. It was as a football-hooligan so he was a bit out of his element. Anyway, that role brought Vinnie up a few notches in my book. Excellent.
All in all it was basically your average Teen-Comedy, only it was pretty funny as well.

Another movie I've seen this week(actually I just finished watching it 20mins ago) is The Life Of David Gale. I don't understand why people rated it as a bit of a mediocre film when it first came out. I can't remember what the comments about the film were, but it was enough to throw me off seeing it. I might not've seen it if it weren't for my bro recommending it.
It was a real intense movie, and I liked it a bunch! Kate Winslet is fantabulous in the movie, and Kevin Spacey still remains as one of my favourite actors. It's hereby recommended.

I don't have too much else to say. I have a cold and I'm aching for my bed. It seems having a cold makes me have amazing dreams. I've woken up the last two mornings with a sense of well-being in stead of a sense of aloofness. It's wonderful!

By the way, I wasn't sure if fantabulous was a real word so I checked it up at dictionary.com and I found out it meant 'marvelously excellent'. Yeah, that's cool.

On a final note: Lasagne is, as well as revenge, a fish best served cold.

Bed.
