Sittin by the pool. Yeah that's cool... but I just wanna dance
Ah... The drama, the drama.
The Shield is, as I've been saying in this blog on a few occasions, awesome. The way the crew of that show make it so... raw, is just unbelieveable. I can easily put myself in their situation and feel like I'm standing right beside Dutch when he's working out his theories on a murder-victim, or for instance tonights episode when the Strike Team were getting the money train... it was almost like I could say "Don't blow this, you guys... Or we'll be dead". You feel like your a part of it. The other show I watch with great enthusiasm is Six Feet Under. You can't really put yourself in many of the situations that's in that show, or I think that if you do, it'd be waaay to depressing. And that's what I get from a lot of people when I say that's like one of my favourite, or possible my all-time favourite, show(s) of all time. They say "I can see that it's a good show and all, but don't you think it's way too depressing? Everything and everyone is fucked up!" And the way I see it, is when you see all that shitty stuff happening to the Fisher's is that the good things that happen there shine through. In some shows you couldn't care less if someone.. gets happy about small things(this is a bit hard to explain, but I hope you understand), but in Six Feet Under you get a smile on your face and all goosebumpy. So what I'm trying to say is that the happy things become more relevant, so it really is a very positive show.
...I'm not sure if I got the message through like I wanted it to, but I'm to jittery to formulate myself in a understanding-like way. Or something like that :p
My term paper is due next Wednesday so I'm not sure I'll be able to squeeze in much more blogging this weekend, but I'm sure you understand why. School is importantè <--- working on my Spanish.
I'll be back later.
Word to your mother.
